Hearing Loss and Ear Ringing

A 40 year-old female with a family history of declining hearing, has been noticing her own auditory decadence in the past 5 years, and she has experienced high-pitched ringing in both ears within the past two years.  She also has a family history of high cholesterol.   Sports injuries from her teenage years have induced present-day arthritis in both knees and pain in the lower back.  During the first acupuncture treatment, the ringing in her right ear disappeared and the volume and pitch in her left ear were significantly muted.  Following this treatment, she finally had a quiet moment, and her husband said this had been the best news he had heard in over two years.  Her knee pain also greatly reduced after the first acupuncture treatment.
