Dr. GUANG HU
Dr. Guang Hu started studying acupuncture at age twelve in Tianjin, China.  Since then, he has worked among and apprenticed with many famous scholars and practitioners of Chinese Medicine.  During this period, he even decided to hide his identity in order to work under and continue learning from certain mentors for he had already developed a reputation and a following.  His mission is and has been to promote Chinese Medicine and its benefits to both western professionals and fellow traditional Chinese Medicine professionals. Dr. Hu tries to enhance the recognition of Chinese Medicine through treating patients of both extremely difficult and simple conditions more effectively.  His distinctive techniques have and are producing quicker results, with many different conditions, thus solidifying Chinese Medicine as a very valuable treatment method.

Currently, Dr. Hu is the Chairman of the Department of Acupuncture at West River Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Tianjin, China, just southeast of Beijing.  There he has treated over 80,000 cases with acupuncture and specializes in treating patients in vegetative state, with liver cancer, lung cancer, and brainstem damage.  His typical morning involves seeing between 100 to 200 people from 7am- 12pm! He has a vast amount of clinical training and currently travels to visit his many different clinics near and around the Beijing area.  Dr. Hu also operates a free clinic in the evenings from 5-8pm in which he sees at least 50 patients and provides his expertise for underprivileged people.  He is also on call for very difficult to treat neurological, gynecological, gastroenterological, endocrinogic, and pediatric conditions.

He teaches and gives seminars all over China and is invited to many hospitals and traditional Chinese medicine institutions to share his knowledge and experience.  His seminars are approved by the NCCAOM(the national certification commission for acupuncture and oriental medicine).  Dr. Hu’s unique approach combines acupuncture points from 14 classic meridians, empirical extraordinary points and Master Tung’s points.  He has developed much of his knowledge from his studies but most importantly from his own experience.  Through expanding his knowledge of modern Western medicine diagnosis he is able to treat the following conditions with Chinese Medicine: paralysis from stroke, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease), pseudobular palsy, ADD/ADHA, Tourett’s syndrome, cerebral palsy, Bell’s paslsy, anorexia, incontinence, chronic cholecystitis, ulcerative colitis, asthma, trigeminal neuralgia and other difficult conditions.  Dr. Hu determines what cases can be helped with his acupuncture methods through looking at X-ray, CT and MRI results.  From these results Dr. Hu decides if he can really help the patient or not.  For example, his methods were able to revive a recent stroke patient from vegetative state in Los Angeles, CA.
